Hello, my name is

Kat Beeton

Poet Laureate of Peterborough 2022-23

I’m a writer, performer, and producer

Services

Workshops

Creative writing, poetry, performance, and public speaking workshops. I deliver sessions that empower participants to find their voice and build confidence. From technical writing skills to the bravery of public performance, my workshops provide a safe, creative space for exploration and growth.

Performance

Spoken word poetry and collaborative shows. With a background in both the literary and theatrical worlds, I bring a raw, authentic energy to the stage. I specialize in storytelling that connects deeply with an audience. I don’t dance. Trust me, it’s for the best; we’re all safer that way.

Producer/Project Manager

Arts and community projects, event support and management, and project delivery. I bridge the gap between creative vision and practical execution. Whether it’s managing community-led arts initiatives or providing logistical support for large-scale events, I ensure projects are delivered with care, organisation, and a people-first approach.
